We spent Thanksgiving in San Mateo with a buddy of mine from work's family.

Thanks Ryan and Erika, the food was great. We had a real nice visit with you guys.

Half Moon Bay

We took the kids up the coast to Half Moon Bay. It's a pretty nice drive as well,
reminded us a little bit of the drive up to the Redwoods last summer. It was a
bit chilly, which was surprising, but Alyssa remained hard core and took advantage
of the visit. Tristan did not.

Tristan Walks!

Our little kookis komeeni (don't ask where we came up with that one, along with
McCauley Caucus, snarkoley kookis, and Chistan Brownstein) finally starts walking
this weekend. This footage is from Sunday night the first time he took more than 6
steps.

San Francisco Bay Aquarium

I took my kids to see the aquarium. It was the first time that I've ever had the chance
to do something with just them and me and we had a great time; although,
the Monterey Bay Aquarium is by far the best aquarium we've ever been to.

playing with me while I'm driving.

Alyssa's Big Day. 3 Years Old!

It's crazy to see how fast Sipps is growing up. It's a mixture of happiness and sadness
because our baby is not a baby anymore and is becoming a little girl. Sippa got a
whole bunch of pretty dresses from Jamma Browne and coloring crayons and books
from her Grandpa. She also got a new bike and a snow white doll, which she's crazy
about. Watch the video of her and me playing dolls below and NOT studying for the CPA exam.

Tristan Turns 1!

It was Tristan's B-day today (and also coincidentally my brother Nick's as well; Trisha
and I timed it perfectly :) ) and Tristan got a lot of new toys to play with and pigged
out on a cup cake.

Halloween at SPC's & Obama Girl

My mom came up from So Cal and we met her at my Uncle Sean's house in Danville.
The kids went trick or treating in their neighborhood.

We came back and Vanessa and SPC treated us all to pizza and brownies and good
political discussions. They are awesome people and real fun to hang out with. Uncle
Mark and Aunt Noreen were there also and are a super cool family to have living
close as well.

Noreen, Mark, and I found a new political ally in SPC and Vanessa's adorable little
girl Jessica. Watch the video!

School Halloween Carnival

The girls had a fun day at CeCe's elementary school carnival playing games,
making cookies, and going in Halloween mazes. Alyssa got super excited playing
a game throwing a softball in a wooden slab with 9 holes. It is some of the best
footage of her that I've ever taken. I was going crazy when I thought I had accidentally
deleted but am happy to say that here it is.

Sierra: Student of the week.

For the week of October 20th - 26th, 2008, Sierra was student of the week.
She can add and subtract, and she can read and write. Amazing, just this past
summer we were reading books to her and now she is reading them to us!!!
We got lucky because we found a place to live right within the Los Altos district
boundaries, which is one of the best school districts in the south bay.

Pumpkin Patch

We took the kids to the this pumpkin event where they played in the hay, bought
pumpkins, and jumped in a bounce house.

Vegas Trip

My bros Don and Mike, and I met in Vegas to see Mike just before he heads

off to Afghanistan. Mike has been in the Air Force for over a year and will be

deployed in a couple of months. We saw this as the last chance for a long time

for us to get together. It was convenient too because Mike was stationed

15 or so minutes outside Vegas. We cruised the strip, ate jello, hit the slots,

Don cleaned up at Roulette, Mike and I did not, and we just had some good

quality hang time; probably for the last time until we all end up living

hopefully in the Pac Northwest years down the road.

Labor Day Weekend

We had a great time this labor day weekend. Mom let us stay in her place, which
was a stone throw away from Laguna Beach. The kids loved the beach.
